Angela Simmons has recently been ordered by court to pay the big amount of $48,000 rent, bills and other housing costs back. She was alleged to abandon her apartment in New Jersey in October 2019.

Later in 2020, the landlord of the 22-story Pembroke at Fort Lee co-op luxury apartment, first lodged a complaint against her for insufficient payments. Since then, the court has sent her several notices and warnings, but she did not respond till date.

Now after 2 years of snub and disobey led the court to give a default judgement for a $48,000 fine, which includes late fees, outstanding rent, repairs and more. The order was passed on October 21.

According to the landlord, Angela began to pay late in 2020 and did not respond to his several calls, which forced him to make police complaints.

According to US reports, Simmons has a wealth of $9 million and her late father, Joseph Ward Simmons, better known by the stage name Rev. Run, has a net worth of $60 million.

In January 2023, Angela officially announced her relationship with Yo Gotti on Instagram. Previously Gotti revealed that he has a crush on Simmons from 2016.

After such big media outrage of her receiving this court order, the 36-year-old actress seems to be absolutely unbothered. It's been 4 days, she has not released any official statement yet.
