Anek on Netflix: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer to release on OTT on THIS date
The Anubhav Sinha directorial was released theatrically on May 27.

Netflix has announced that Ayushmann Khurrana 's latest film, Anek will be released on their platform shortly. The OTT giant has yet to reveal the film's premiere date on its Twitter account. Anek was released in theatres on May 27.
Anubhav Sinha's Anek is a political thriller, which follows Joshua, played by Ayushmann, as he attempts to arrange a peace settlement between North Eastern extremist factions and the government. Aido, played by Andrea Kevichüsa, is a militant's daughter who experiences discrimination because of her looks and how this prevents her from achieving her aspirations.

Anek was unable to get a crowd to the theatre and performed poorly at the box office. The film was predicted to do well because the director's previous films, such as Thappad Mulk, and Article 15, performed significantly better. The film was launched in the middle of two superhit films Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Vikram.
Netflix has also announced that it would release the smash horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 on its platform.
Ayushmann will appear in Doctor G with Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah, which will be helmed by Anubhuti Kashyap. He will also appear in films such as Badhaai Ho 2.
