Judging from the trailer, Arjun Das's Aneethi seems like an intense social thriller.
Aneethi is one of the big releases on the OTT front this week. Even though the movie didn't make a mark at the box office following its release in July, the movie managed to garner some good reviews. One of the biggest praise came from director Shankar, who seemed to be genuinely moved by Arjun Das's performance in the movie.
"When you watch Arjun Das's character in the film, you feel a certain kind of sympathy. It brought tears to my eyes. Arjun Das has performed so well in his own style that he not only made us cry but also sit up and take notice," Shankar had said during the movie's trailer launch.

Aneethi an intense socio-economic drama
Judging from the trailer, Aneethi seems like an intense social thriller. Arjun Das seems to take on the mantle of the modern-day angry young man. He plays the role of a food delivery boy in the movie. A highly demanding job, with low pay and no respect seemingly forces the protagonist to become unhinged and go on a murderous rampage.
