Aneethi, the revenge drama, helmed by Vasanthabalan, starring Arjun Das and Dushara Vijayan, is gearing up to hit screens on July 21
It looks like Arjun Das's upcoming film Aneethi is all set to give a fillip to his career. During the teaser launch of the film, director Shankar said that he was all tears after watching his character." When you watch Arjun Das's character in the film, you feel a certain kind of sympathy. It brought tears to my eyes. Arjun Das has performed so well in his own style that he not not only made us cry, but also sit up and take notice."

Sharing the clip on his social media handle, a moved Arjun Das wrote that sharing the stage with him was one of the best moments in his life. He wrote, "From watching his movies in the theatre to nervously sitting beside him during the audio launch. To then standing beside him on stage, listening to him talk about my performance in #Aneethi was one of the best moments of my life. Thank you so much @shankarshanmugh Sir. Will cherish this forever! #Dreamsdocometrue #ForeverGrateful (sic)."
The teaser of Arjun Das and Dushara Vijayan's Aneethi, which was released yesterday has also piqued the expectations among the audience. The teaser, which spans one minute and 34 seconds, provides a sneak peek into the film, without giving out any major details about the plot. Arjun Das is seen as a person who is hell bent on fighting against justice.

This is the maiden collaboration between Vasanthabalan and Arjun Das. While Dushara Vijayan plays the leading lady, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Bigg Boss Tamil fame Suresh Chakravarthy, Vanitha Vijayakumar, Kaali Venkat, Arjun Chidambaram, Subramaniam Siva Bharani, Pugazh, Aranthangi Nisha, to name a few.

Aneethi is bankrolled by Vasanthabalan and his school friends under the banner UBoyz Studios. The film is gearing up to hit screens on July 21 and will mark Arjun Das's sophpmore film as a lead actor, after Andhaghaaram.
