Andrea Jeremiah starrer Pisasu 2 first look drops today

Mysskin is back with the sequel of Pisasu 2 starring Andrea Jeremiah and the first look of the movie will be unveiled today by director Vetrimaaran.

Mysskin has always wowed by making offbeat movies while touching on different genres like psych, thriller, horror and even superhero. His thriller and horror movies are taken in such a way that carries the Hollywood type of filmmaking as they are raw, authentic and quite realistic which is bone-chilling for the viewers. In 2020, he caused a thrill among the audience with the release of Psycho, starring Udhayanidhi Stalin, Aditi Rao Hydari and Nithya Menen When the first part of Pisasu was released in 2014, it received a positive response from the audience along with appreciation and critical acclaim. This year he is back with the sequel of Pisasu starring Andrea Jeremiah.

The cast and crew had taken to social media to put up the announcement of the first look reveal. The unveiling is going to take place today at 6 pm by National award-winning director Vetrimaaran (of Asuran, Vada Chennai and Aadukalam fame). Andrea will be starring in the upcoming horror movie as the protagonist. She is known for her selective choice of film projects. She was earlier seen in Master, Putham Pudhu Kaalai and Vada Chennai.

Pisasu 2 marks her third horror movie after Aranmanai and Aval. This will also be her second time working with director Mysskin after Thupparivalan. She had taken to Instagram on her birthday to release her first look poster and also shed light behind her look’s inspiration, which was a picture of her young grandmother.

It is also reported that Vijay Sethupathi will be appearing in a special role in the movie. The story Pisasu 2 is set to happen at an early period, in which the team is working to capture the beauty on screen as well. The release date of the movie is yet to be finalised.
