This is the first time that she is dubbing for a Telugu film
Andrea Jeremiah has completed dubbing for the Telugu portions of Mysskin's Pisasu 2. Interestingly, this is the first time that she is dubbing for a film in Telugu. The Telugu PRO for the film, shared the news on his social media page along with a video of Andrea at the dubbing studio. He captioned it,"Actress @andrea_jeremiah has completed the #Pisasu2 Telugu dubbing, 1st time she has dubbed for telugu Coming soon into Theaters ðŸŽðŸ“½ #Pisachi2 @DirectorMysskin @Rockfortent @VijaySethuOffl @Actorsanthosh @Lv_Sri @kbsriram16 @saregamasouth @SVC_official @teamaimpr (sic)." The Telugu version of the film is titled Pisachi 2.
The shoot for the film was wrapped up earlier last year, but the work had come to a halt due to the pandemic. Vijay Sethupathi, who has made a special appearance in the film, has also wrapped up dubbing for his portions. The star cast for the film includes Poorna, Santhosh Pratap. Siva Santhakumar has cranked the camera, and editing is by Keerthana and Sushil Umapathy. Music for the film is by Karthik Raja and lyrics for the songs are by Kabilan.
Andrea plays an Anglo Indian in the film. While sharing her look in the film, Andrea had written that it was inspired from her grandmother Heather. "“There’s a story behind #Pisasu2 first look...On the left is a picture of my maternal grandmother, taken when she was a young girl. Her name was Heather and with her dark blonde hair & greyish blue eyes, she never looked like she belonged here. (sic)."
Pisasu (2014) is a gothic horror film, written and directed by Mysskin. Mysskin had earlier revealed that though the project has been titled Pisasu 2, it is not a sequel to Pisasu. Pisasu featured Naga, Rajkumar Pitchumani, Ashvatt, Radharavi, Kalyani Natarajan, Prayaga Martin and Harish Uthaman, and the film was dubbed in Telugu as Pisachi. The film was remade in Kannada as Raakshashi and in Hindi as Nanu Ki Jaanu. Pisasu 2, on the other hand, will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The film is bankrolled by T Muruganantham under Rockfort Entertainment.
