After keeping calm, fans finally witnessed the first official teaser of And Just Like That which is a reboot of the hit franchise Sex and the City. The teaser video features all the lead actors, including Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, respectively. The best friends have reunited after many years and will explore their friendship in their 50s.

The teaser also gives a glimpse into the supporting characters such as Nicole Ari Parker, Sarita Choudhury, Karen Pittman, Sara Ramirez, Isaac Cole Powell, and others. Moreover, Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, the late Willie Garson, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Alexa Swinton, Cree Cicchino, Niall Cunningham, and Cathy Ang will also be seen in the series.

However, Kim Cattrall will not be returning as Samantha Jones in the series. The actor was one of the lead stars of the hit series and has a separate fan base.

HBO's groundbreaking series Sex and the City returns with a new chapter in executive producer Michael Patrick King's career trajectory. Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte will be followed as they make their way from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their thirties to the much more complicated reality of life and friendship in their fifties.

Earlier, during an interaction with Vogue, Parker spoke about the casting of the series by stating, "We have some new people, and we have some people who aren’t back any more."

The actor further told the magazine that the writers are skilled at getting the characters, whether they're of colour or not, to recognise the novelty of their situation. Parker said it all fits nicely with the show's well-known tone.

Praising the costumes of the series, the actor shared that the clothes alone are incredible. She concluded by saying that this version of Sex and the City still has plenty of sex.

The series will start streaming on HBO Max on December 9, 2021.
