A month after its theatrical debut, the Malayalam film Anchakkallakokkan has made its way to the digital space. The police thriller is currently accessible for viewing on Amazon Prime. The makers had not revealed any details about the digital release on social media prior. The film's lead actors, Chemban Vinod Jose and Lukman Avaran, debuted on theatres on March 15.
In this film, Manikandan R Achari, Sreejith Ravi, Merin Mary Philip, Senthil Kumar, and Megha Thomas have significant roles. Ullas Chemban, the brother of Chemban Vinod, is the director of this movie. The screenplay was written by the director. Chemban Vinod Jose provided the film's funding through Chembosky Motion Pictures, his production company.

People's interest in the movie had grown as a result of the producers' restraint in their excessive promotion. As the movie had a decent run in theatres with limited screens, many awaited its digital debut on a popular OTT platform. In addition to other eagerly awaited movies that are doing well in theatres, Anchakkallakokkan has managed to make an impact on the viewers.
Furthermore, it feels natural how the suspense is developed by replaying an occurrence from another perspective. It does not, however, succeed in drawing you into its characters to an extent due to their murky traits. There are a few expertly choreographed action scenes that pay homage to Quentin Tarantino's films. The audience also gave Lukman Avaran and Chemban Vinod credit for their performances.

The movie takes place in Kalahasti a village located on the Karnataka-Kerala border, The plot develops as a murder occurs a few days before an election. The victim is Chaapra, a powerful resident whose passing initiates a series of actions. A segment of Porattanadakam, a folk dance performed by the Panar community in Palakkad, is also shown in the film, along with Chaapra's death acting as the setting for the movie.
Lukman Avaran portrays Vasudevan, a rookie police officer who is posted to Kalahasti. Chemban Vinod appears as senior police officer Nadavaramban Peter in this film.
