Money shower at the BSE marks the celebration of the popular Spanish drama
“The first times are special. Unique. But the last times are incomparable, priceless.” Berlin’s words have never felt truer as we near the finale of the popular Spanish series La Casa de Papel aka Money Heist.
To pay a tribute to the fan-favourite gang, Netflix India, which is now streaming the final season of the heist crime drama series, took over the Bombay Stock Exchange. Fans gathered in the iconic red jumpsuits and Dali masks to ring the customary BSE bell. It was followed by a money shower - a moment, we can say, the Professor would certainly be proud of!
The headline of the event was the Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey, hiding beneath one of the Dali masks. After disclosing her identity, she joined the celebrations with other fans to watch a short exclusive preview of the Money Heist Part 5: Volume 1.
A die-hard Money Heist fan herself, Ananya said at the event that it’s super exciting to celebrate a series that me and a lot of fans have been eagerly waiting for. She said in a statement, "I'm a huge fan of the show. It’s sad that this is the final leg of the series. I’m going to miss the show and the characters, especially Denver, he is my favourite of the lot. Jaime Lorente has done a fabulous job. Denver’s laugh is unforgettable and he is a brave man who would give it all for his family! For now, I’m looking forward to watching the new season of Money Heist.”
Meanwhile, the first part of the finale of Money Heist, consisting of five episodes, is streaming on Netflix. The second part will release on December 3. Until then, all we can do is await the final episodes singing, 'Jaldi Aao, Jaldi Aao'.
