Business tycoons Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding ceremony will take place on July 12 this year. Ahead of their big day, know what’s in store for the pre-wedding ceremony.

Celebration time is nearing! The wedding bells are ringing for business tycoon Anant Ambani, the younger son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, who is all set to marry businesswoman Radhika Merchant on July 12 in Mumbai. The pre-wedding celebrations are set to kick off with a star-studded three-day event from March 1 to 3 in Gujarat's Jamnagar, home to Ambani's sprawling oil refineries. With barely a week left for the pre-wedding ceremonies to kick off, know what a recent report reveals.

What’s the pre-wedding schedule?

According to news agency PTI, the upcoming three-day event will incorporate diverse themes and corresponding dress codes.

Day 1 (March 1, 2024): Guests will start with "An Evening in Everland," where sophisticated cocktail attire is recommended.

Day 2 (March 2, 2024): The festivities continue with "A Walk on the Wildside," an event held outdoors at the Ambanis' animal rescue center in Jamnagar. Guests are encouraged to wear attire evoking the theme of the jungle. Later that day, the event transitions to "Mela Rouge," a vibrant fusion of desi activities where attendees are invited to showcase their favorite South Asian attire.

On the last day, there will be two events - 'Tusker Trails' and 'Hashtakshar.' The first event, 'Tusker Trails,' will be held outdoors, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Jamnagar. For the final event, 'Hashtakshar,' attendees will be expected to dress in 'heritage Indian attire.'

What delicacies will be served to the guests?

If a report by Hindustan Times is to be believed, about 25 chefs will prepare delicacies for thousands of guests. Not only this, but about 2,500 dishes are to be served to the guests. Also, special food will be served to those with dietary restrictions.

Almost all A-listers are expected to grace the pre-wedding ceremony.
