Anand Mahindra watched Priyanka Chopra’s Citadel: Unmoved by Russo Brothers, she puts our male action heroes in the shade

Citadel was released on Amazon Prime Video on April 28.

Anand Mahindra caught up with Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ recent web series Citadel. He gave his honest opinion. While unmoved by Russo Brothers, he was singing praises for our desi girl Priyanka.

The business tycoon caught the first few episodes of the show over the weekend. “Was left unmoved by the typical Russo brothers OTT plot but seeing @priyankachopra as an action hero was a revelation. She puts most of our male action heroes in the shade,” he tweeted.

Tagging Priyanka as a ‘fauji brat,’ he put her in a bracket and stated that they are ambitious and adaptive. He obviously added that she fits the bill.

Anand Mahindra then went on to hand over the crown to Priyanka for being such a massive changemaker. Sending more power across her way, he added, “She is clearly living life on her own terms & taking on the world, one step at a time.”

Priyanka plays a spy named Nadia Sinh on the show. Directed by Russo Brothers, it stars Richard Madden as the male lead.

The show released on Amazon Prime Video on April 28. The next few episodes from the series will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Citadel has turned into a franchise. The Indian version of the same stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles. The same will be releasing next in the franchise.
