Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya and Viraj Ashwin’s romantic drama Baby will be getting a re-release this Valentine’s Day. The makers of the 2023 film announced the update through a poster, which states that the film will be released on February 14. The 2023 sleeper hit, directed by Sai Rajesh, was produced by SKN under the banner of Mass Movie Makers. Upon its release last year, the film received huge acclaim for the performances of Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi, and Viraj.

Grossing over Rs 100 crore at the box office, Baby attained huge success both in its theatrical and OTT release. Now with Valentine’s day around the corner, Baby is a great choice for the makers to cash in on V-Day.

Starring Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya and Viraj Ashwin, the romantic drama is about two childhood sweethearts whose relationship is tested when they enter college. The film revolves around the complex relationship among the film’s protagonists - Anand, Vaishnavi and Viraj. While Anand and Vaishnavi are sweethearts, Vaishnavi’s life takes a different turn when she joins an engineering college. From her appearance to ideas about love, friendship, social status, Vaishnavi is a new person altogether, something Anand couldn't accept. What happens next forms the rest of the story.

Nagababu, Lirisha, Kusuma Degalamarri, Sathvik Anand, Babloo, Seetha, Mounika and Keerthana play pivotal roles in the film. M N Bal Reddy is the cinematographer for the movie while Viplav Nyshadam is the editor. Dheeraj Mogilineni co-produced the drama.

Meanwhile, the makers of Baby announced a new film with Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya as leads recently. The untitled project’s first look was released earlier with the shooting set to have commenced in Hyderabad.
