Anamika Chakraborty and Uday Pratap Singh go on their honeymoon with friends

On June 28, the well-known television actress Anamika Chakraborty and Uday Pratap Singh tied the knot in a private ceremony. Their wedding took place in the presence of close relatives and friends at their residence. Anamika and Uday opted for a traditional Bengali wedding. Finally, the couple went on their honeymoon with their close friends.

Instead of a popular foreign destination, the couple chose to have their honeymoon in North Bengal’s serene hill station, Takdah. The picturesque place is located 27 kilometres from Darjeeling. Interestingly, the newlywed couple went on their honeymoon along with their friends.

Anamika, known for her impeccable style, donned a red silk saree with a decorative hairpin and a beautiful necklace gracing her neck. On the other hand, Uday wore a simple white Punjabi with a cotton shawl. They looked ethereal, without an iota of ostentation. However, it marked the beginning of a new chapter in their lives as they declared their love amidst nature’s embrace.

In an interview with Anandabazar Online, Anamika said, “We wanted to have an intimate wedding in a personal setting, surrounded by our loved ones and close friends. And we wanted to go on our honeymoons with friends. We may not have this opportunity again.”

Has their relationship undergone any changes from being lovers to husband and wife? Anamika said, “We were good together before, and we still are. We always knew this would be our future, so there is no distinct feeling of change.”

The speculations about Uday’s marriage started right after the conclusion of the popular mega serial Mithai. When asked if there are any arrangements for a reception with industry friends after the wedding, Anamika clarified that there is no such plan.
