Amitabh Bachchan at KBC 15: Here’s why the megastar arrives 3 hours before the reporting time on the set of the show

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is a disciplinarian by practice, arrives about 3 hours prior to the reporting time on the set of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 15.

Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) is one of the most-loved reality shows on Indian Television. It is one show that can be viewed by people across age groups and is hosted by super-talented and highly renowned Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

While many fans of the megastar time and again appreciate him for his passion, hard work and determination towards his profession, his son Abhishek Bachchan has revealed the secret behind the success of his father.

Abhishek Bachchan details his father's work life on the set of KBC 15

In an interview with a social media portal ‘Humans of Bombay’, actor Abhishek Bachchan shared, “My father is currently shooting for KBC. Just the fact that the guy is working six days a week at the age of 81 is baffling to me.”

Abhishek also revealed that despite a long day of filming, his father returns home by 11 pm and instead of resting, he engages in writing his blog and responding to messages on Twitter.

Abhishek even confessed that Big B wakes up on time (usually around 7AM) despite sleeping after midnight.

Abhishek Bachchan feels his father is a highly-disciplined professional

Lauding his father’s determination and hard work towards his work, Abhishek mentions that Big B reaches 3 hours before the reporting time on set because he fears that he might forget “his script”.

“He (Big B) starts shooting for the show at 11 in the morning but he reaches the set early at 7:30 am to rehearse. When I ask him, You have been doing this for 20 years, do you still need to rehearse?’ He replies, ‘Yes, yes what if I forget?’ He is genuine, he is not putting it on. I think that’s why he is so great because for him it’s all about the work,” said Abhishek Bachchan.

Kaun Banega Crorepati’s latest season will begin airing on August 14 only on Sony LIV.
