The star-studded ensemble of Rajinikanth's upcoming film Thalaivar 170, which is being directed by TJ Gnanavel, has created a lot of buzz. Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly ready to make his first appearance with the superstar in nearly three decades.

The two superstars of Indian film, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan will once again share the screen in the upcoming movie Thalaivar 170, over 32 years after they last did so in movies like Hum, Andhaa Kaanoon, and Geraftaar.

According to reports, Amitabh Bachchan from Bollywood, Manju Warrier from Malayalam, who would play the protagonist, Fahadh Faasil from Telugu, who will play the antagonist, will all appear in the film Thalaivar170. However, the film's cast and crew have not yet been revealed by the producers officially.

In the past, there were numerous rumors that Chiyaan Vikram, who plays Chiyaan in Ponniyin Selvan, had been offered the part. Although the team hasn't specified a release date, Thalaivar 170 is anticipated to release later this year.

Reports claim that Thalaivar 170 is based on a real incident, and Rajinikanth will be portraying a police officer. Lyca Productions provided the financial backing for the movie, and Anirudh Ravichandran created the score. The filming is anticipated to start soon.
