Amidst rumours of YRF rejecting Ranveer Singh, Aditya Chopra’s close friend says actor will bounce back with Baiju Bawra

Various reports currently claim that YRF has broken ties with Ranveer Singh. While there’s news that they no longer want to continue working with him, there’s another where Aditya Chopra’s close friend talks about the actor. He feels that Ranveer will bounce back with Baiju Bawra.

The close friend told ETimes that Aditya and Ranveer share a mutual admiration for one another. Ranveer, especially, signs no project without running it through Aditya. “Ups and downs do not dictate long-term business associations in this industry,” the source added.

This little birdie further cited the example of Rajesh Khanna, a superstar who had nine flops before bagging Yash Chopra’s Daag. According to this mystery person, Ranveer will have the biggest hit of his career with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film, Baiju Bawra.

The source further shared that while some reports will claim that Ranveer is no longer a part of the project, he is actually finalized for it. Reportedly, Ranveer and Alia will collaborate on-screen once again for the story.

A report on Bollywood Hungama claimed that YRF decided to not sign any films with Ranveer after his numerous flops at the Box Office. This might mean that they are falling apart after working together for years at an end. The source there pointed out that Ranveer worked on six movies with YRF and out of them, he delivered only one hit.

Further, YRF is currently invested in the Spy Universe. With Pathaan’s success and Tiger 3 on its way, the focus has shifted to the projects in the pipeline.
