Amid Sandeep Reddy Vanga's criticism, Parvathy shares a cryptic post - 'Don't Tell Me What to Do'

Malayalam star Parvathy Thiruvothu has posted a cryptic message on social media after she faced criticism from Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

A day after filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Animal fame made critical comments about her , Malayalam star Parvathy Thiruvothu shared a cryptic post, adding intrigue to this celebrity feud.

While she has not made any direct reference to Sandeep's recent comments about her, we can't help but wonder if there is a connection between the two incidents.

"Write a caption or add a poll.. idc because happyyyaaee!," captioned Parvathy, sharing a few joyful selfies taken at a fancy restaurant. Notably, one of the photos captures a menu with the caption, "Don't Tell Me What to Do."

Parvathy's latest Instagram post has undoubtedly piqued our curiosity. It's noteworthy that she has historically proven she doesn't hesitate to call a spade a spade. A prime example is when she criticized the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy during a roundtable discussion. What makes this noteworthy? Actor Vijay Deverakonda, who played the lead role in Arjun Reddy, was also part of the discussion. However, that didn't deter her from politely expressing her disapproval of the movie, which she deemed problematic.

Interestingly, this incident is also the catalyst for Sandeep's disapproving comments questioning Parvathy's ability to judge a movie. “There was one Malayalam actor, Parvathy Thiruvothu, I think her name was. She said in an interview that Joker didn’t glorify killing. When Joker dances on the stairs while a song plays, she doesn’t think that is glorification. I was shocked. She’s a very good actor, and if someone like her can feel Joker doesn’t glorify violence but Kabir Singh does, then what can we expect of the general public," said Sandeep during a recent interview.

This is not the first time that Parvathy has stirred controversy in the film industry by slamming movies perceived to propagate regressive ideas. Earlier, she created waves in the Malayalam film industry by critiquing superstar Mammootty for playing the lead role in Kasaba, which she described as "extremely misogynistic."
