Amid postponement rumours, Mythri Movie Makers confirm Sarkaru Vaari Paata's release on May 12

The makers behind the Mahesh Babu, Keerthy Suresh starrer will kickstart the pre-release promotional campaign shortly

Lots of rumours, reports have been doing the rounds in the recent past that the Mahesh Babu, Keerthy Suresh starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata won't arrive at the theatres as per schedule. While some have suggested the film has gone beyond its stipulated budget, a few have pointed out that the makers may not have enough time to ready the final copy by the second week of May. Putting all such reports to rest, Mythri Movie Makers, have reiterated that Sarkaru Vaari Paata will hit theatres on May 12 across the globe.

"30 days left for the Box office BID to begin 🔥 Gear up for a MASSive turbulent promotions💥 begins shortly 🤘🏻 #SarkaruVaariPaata #SVPonMay12," the producers tweeted earlier in the day. The film has already underwent multiple release date changes in the recent months and this reassurance from the team means that Mahesh Babu's fans will heave a sigh of relief at last.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata has Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead and is directed by Parasuram Petla, the filmmaker behind Solo, Geetha Govindam. The action entertainer is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with 14 Reels Plus and G Mahesh Babu Entertainment. S Thaman scores the music for the film and two singles released from the album, Penny and Kalaavathi, are already a rage among audiences.

Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore and Subbaraju essay important roles in the film too. The film's USA premières will be held on May 11. Amazon Prime Video has reportedly bought the film's post-theatrical streaming rights. After Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Mahesh Babu will commence shooting for a film with director Trivikram Srinivas and begin work on an actioner with SS Rajamouli by the end of the year.
