Amid outrage over RG Kar incident, Payal Mukherjee heckled by a biker

Protests are going on all over West Bengal over the heinous rape and murder of the doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital earlier this month. Common people as well as celebrities are coming to the streets every day with the slogan, ‘We want justice’. Amid this uproar, Tollywood actress Payal Mukherjee was attacked by a biker on Friday evening in Southern Avenue.

The biker, an army officer, was arrested for heckling Payal and smashing her car. His name is M Arasan. He complained against Payal that she knocked on his bike with her car. The cops are investigating the allegations from both parties. 

Payal came on Facebook Live on Friday and said, “I came on Facebook Live. Please see the situation. I am now in front of 27A Southern Avenue. Protests are going over Kolkata, but a girl has no minimum safety. The man's bike collided with my car. I was driving. He came to my car and told me to open the window. I naturally did not open it, fearing molestation. Then he smashed the window glass and broke it. The police came and rescued me. I was scared of coming out of the car.”
