Amid Animal's grand success, Siddhant Karnick says, 'I don't have any concrete work after...'

Siddhant Karnick played the role of Ranbir Kapoor's brother-in-law in Animal. Amid the film's success, the actor has revealed he has no concrete work.

Siddhant Karnick is basking in the glory of Animal's success. The actor played the role of Ranbir Kapoor's brother-in-law in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film. 2023 was a good year for Siddhant as he had not one but three releases this year. He featured in Adipurush, Made In Heaven 2, and Animal. While one might expect that Siddhant is flooded with work offers amid Animal's success, the scenario is a bit different.

Siddhant Karnick has 'no concrete' work

In an interview with News18, Siddhant Karnick admitted that in his upcoming project, Afghan Snow, he has a small role. "However, I don’t have any concrete work after this. Three projects I had been working on came out this year. After this, I’ve got nothing lined up," said Karnick.

Having said that, Siddhant is hopeful about the fact that Anima's success will nudge filmmakers to call him for work meetings. The actor said he was being honest about not having work as he feels it is their fault actors that they don't speak about their vulnerabilities so much.

Siddhant Karnick on his professional front

The actor further mentioned that it is his responsibility not to mislead his audience but to give them a truthful glimpse of his work front. Siddhant told the publication that he could portray the image of being successful by claiming that he is working on a couple of things. However, the actor wishes to be honest with his audience.

Having worked in the industry for 20 years, Siddhant is hoping that he will be able to work for another 10 years. "As of now, I’ve nothing concrete in my hand but I know opportunities will come up," he said, on a concluding note.

Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal featured Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The film clashed with Sam Bahadur at the box office. Despite that, the movie became a blockbuster hit at the ticket window. Apart from Siddhant, Ranbir and Rashmika, Animal's star cast includes Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
