Amazon Prime Video unveils the teaser of Prithviraj starrer Cold Case

Amazon Prime Video unveiled the teaser of Prithviraj’s Cold Case on June 19. The Malayalam movie is slated for a direct-to-OTT release. In the teaser, we see Prithviraj Sukumaran, Aditi Balan and Suchitra Pillai embroiled in a strange situation. The teaser is a blend of supernatural elements and a mysterious crime scene.

From the teaser, Cold Case appears to be an intriguing investigative thriller mixed with some horror elements. It begins with a narration claiming that every spirit that departs from the body leaves behind some secrets. As the teaser moves on, we get a glimpse of all the ingredients of a horror-drama. From a creepy-looking doll, a spooky house to a blood-strained hand that touches an unsuspecting character, the teaser has enough jumpscares. We also get a glimpse of the main character of the movie. Prithviraj who plays the role of a police officer, only believes in logic and not in spirits. The movie takes us through him unravelling the mystery behind the otherwise supernatural crime scenes.
Prithviraj took to Twitter to share the teaser. “Stuck in the midst of faith and logic… the quest to find the truth begins from today! #ColdCase Teaser out now Watch #ColdCaseOnPrime June 30, @PrimeVideoIN,” he wrote.
Cold Case is an investigative crime thriller jointly produced by Anto Joseph Films and Plan J Studios. It is helmed by cinematographer-turned-director Tanu Balak and written by Sreenath V Nath. The movie also stars Adithi Balan, Lakshmi Priya, Alencier Lopez, Anil Nedumangad and Athmiya in pivotal roles.
Cold Case will have an exclusive world premiere on Amazon Prime Video on June 30.
