Amazon Prime Video announced multiple anticipated series and movie titles across multiple languages and genres at a special event today. While Netflix is taking a step back in the OTT game by slashing 90% of its titles due to a huge dip in the number of subscribers, Amazon is all set to release multiple series and movies in the upcoming months. The announcement video glimpses the leading characters of the films and web shows along with their titles.
The latest promo video begins with Shahid starrer series Farzi, which also has Raashii Khanna, Vijay Sethupati and Kay Key Menon in major roles. Next in the montage is the Aditi Rao Hydari and Aparshakti Khurana starrer web show Jubilee, while Adhura is another series that has Rasika Dugal, Ishwak Singh and Rahul Dev.
Dahaad is another upcoming project that features Gulshan Devaiah, Vijay Varma and Sonakshi Sinha among other prominent actors. Meanwhile, in the list of films, Tiku Weds Sheru is the first title that stars Nawazzuddin Siddiqui, and Avneet Kaur in lead roles.
Meanwhile, the video also unveils Naga Chaitanya's first web series titled Dhootha with Parvathy and others. Bambai Meri Jaan is another show that has Kay Kay Menon in a major role alongside Avinash Tiwary. Juhi Chawla will be seen in Hush Hush, which is a web series and also has Soha Ali Khan and Kritika Kamra.
Madhuri Dixit starrer Maja Maa is another film, which will be released soon on Amazon Prime Video. Ammu, which stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, is another film to drop on the OTT giant this year.
Suzhal The Vortex, The Village, Vadhandhi, Sweet Kaaram Coffee are some of the upcoming series in regional languages of India that are slated to stream on the digital platform. Meanwhile, The Rohit Shetty directorial Indian Police Force, which stars Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty, also adds to the list.
A few more new show titles are P. I. Meena, Happy Family Conditions Apply, Shehar Lakhot and Jee Karda. Moving on the video unveils the forthcoming projects that are international adaptations such as Modern Love Mumbai, Modern Love Hyderabad, and Modern Love Chennai.
The OTT giant is also gearing up to release the anticipated seasons of the Amazon original series including Breathe: Into The Shadow, Four More Shots Please!, Panchayat, Comicstaan, and Made In Heaven.
Meanwhile, This is AP Dhillon, Cinema Marte Dum Tak, Dancing On The Grave, and Live Cricket Tournaments are some of the unscripted events that will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
