They announce worldwide exclusive, multi-year licensing slate.
Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Amazon Prime Video have established a worldwide exclusive multi-film licensing partnership (NGE). This partnership brings the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video and one of the leading production houses, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE), together. This partnership will offer the biggest and best Bollywood films to audiences across the country, as well as admirers in more than 240 countries and territories.
As part of the deal, the streaming service will be the global home for NGE's forthcoming slate of films, shortly after they hit theatres. NGE's film schedule includes several highly anticipated films, including Bawaal, Sanki, Baaghi 4 and Kartik Aaryan's untitled project, among others, and promises to bring Nadiadwala's trademark larger-than-life, immersive filmmaking to audiences throughout the world, on their preferred screen.
Following its theatrical debut, all Prime members will be able to watch the movie on Amazon Prime Video. The movie will also be available 'to-rent' on Amazon Prime Video for all Amazon customers (Prime and non-Prime) in the 'Early Access Rental' window for all Amazon customers (Prime and non-Prime).
Varun Dhawan, Tiger Shroff, Kartik Aaryan, Ahan Shetty, and others will star in these flicks, which will include some of Bollywood's most prominent and varied talent. The slate also includes national award-winning directors such as Nitesh Tiwari (Chhichhore, Dangal), Ravi Udyawar (Mom), Sameer Vidwans (Anandi Gopal), Saket Chaudhry (Hindi Medium), and others.
In a statement, Sajid Nadiadwala said that they have been entertaining the public with their movies for the last 70 years, contributing to Indian culture, and today it's a new era in entertainment with OTT being such a vital part of their lives. Amazon Prime Video has aided in the dismantling of all entertainment boundaries, be they geographical, linguistic, or otherwise. They feel we've discovered a partner in Prime Video that not only shares their objective of providing immersive cinematic experiences but also provides global distribution for the best tales from India's entertainment industry.
Nadiadwala added that they are optimistic that this alliance of inclusive cinema will enable their next releases to move beyond borders and provide extra value to Prime Video's exceptional content choices. This collaboration represents NGE's first-ever, worldwide exclusive, multi-film, multi-year arrangement with Prime Video.
He believes this partnership will pave the way for additional collaborations between the two businesses as the world of storytelling grows across genres.
