The streaming platform Amazon miniTV has announced its next web series, titled Udan Patolas. This 6-part comedy, drama, and romance series is anchored on the friendship between four women hailing from Punjab (Patolas), who are living in Mumbai. The story revolves around their relationships, work-life situations, and their ambitions.
The series, directed by Shakti Sagar Chopra, of the Hatim and Ramayan fame, stars a stellar young cast including actors Apoorva Arora, Aastha Sidana, Poppy Jabbal, and Sukhmani Sadana. It is produced by Applause Entertainment. The makers announced the web series with a poster on social media. Taking to Twitter, the wrote: "Aa rahi hai humari #UdanPatolas 👯🏻♀️👯🏻♀️🥳🥳 #AmazonminiTV #UdanPatolasOnminiTV."

Deepak Segal, chief creative officer, Applause Entertainment, said that Udan Patolas is a slice-of-life dramedy with quirky characters and delightful 'Punjabiyat'. Udan Patolas is produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Sol Productions. Written by Sukhmani Sadana, the series also features, Rajveer Singh, Mayank Arora, Taniya Kalrra, Vaibhav Talwar, Rakesh Bedi, and Manik Singh in prominent roles.
