Actor Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film, Amaran, a biopic on Mukund Varadarajan, is set for a Diwali release
Actor Sivakarthikeyan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Amaran, which is scheduled to release for Diwali. With just a little over a month left for the release, the director of the film, Rajkumar Periasamy revealed that the dubbing works are underway with Sivakarthikeyan completing his portions.

We had already reported that the upcoming film Amaran is a biopic of Mukund Varadarajan, a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment. He was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his operation with the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion. Actor Sivakarthikeyan will be essaying the main lead in the film, marking the first biopic project in his career.
The film is scheduled to hit big screens on October 31 for the occasion of Diwali. Ahead of this, the post production works of the film are underway and happening at a fast pace. In the latest, filmmaker Rajkumar Periasamy, who is helming Amaran, revealed that Sivakarthikeyan has begun dubbing for his portions. A glimpse released by the director shows the actor dubbing a power-packed dialogue that his character will be telling to his soldiers.

Amaran is one of the most anticipated projects which will present Sivakarthikeyan in a complete action avatar. The film is produced by Kamal Haasan under Raaj Kamal Films International.
The film stars Sai Pallavi as the female lead, along with actors Rahul Bose and Lallu in significant roles. Their roles have been kept under wraps. Rumours suggest that there is a key cameo by Kamal Haasan. But an official confirmation is awaited.
Amaran’s post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Netflix. The technical crew consists of cinematography by Ch Sai, with R Kalaivanan as the editor. GV Prakash Kumar is scoring the music for the film.
Sivakarthikeyan’s transformation in Amaran, which is expected to be high on action, has already garnered much attention among his fans.
