Diljit Dosanjh joined British singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran at his concert in Mumbai. The Punjabi singer added a unique twist to Ed's Mumbai concert. He crooned his famous track Lover and surprisingly, Ed, too, sang in Punjabi for the first time. A few Bollywood celebrities also attended the same concert last night. Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali was one of them. He enjoyed Diljit and Ed's live performance and heaped praise on his Amar Singh Chamkila actor.

The video featured the filmmaker happily enjoying the singers' concert performance. While sharing the clip on his IG stories, Imtiaz wrote, "Way to go diljitdosanjh (sic)." Diljit Dosanjh also reposted the clip on his social media handle. Additionally, the singer shared a video wherein Ed Sheeran can be singing a few lines of his song Lover in Punjabi. Ed Sheeran enjoyed his time in India ahead of the Mumbai concert. He met a few Bollywood celebrities as well. Ed crooned the song Perfect at Farah Khan's special bash hosted for him. As Sheeran sang the track, Shah Rukh Khan was seen vibing to his music. SRK also taught the singer his signature pose, which Ed happily recreated.
As the title suggests, Imtiaz Ali's film Amar Singh Chamkla is based on the life of popular Punjabi singer (Amar Singh Chamkila), who was killed at the age of 27. AR Rahman has worked on the music of the movie while Irshad Kamil has penned the lyrics. Also starring Parineeti Chopra in a pivotal role, Amar Singh Chamkila is set to stream on Netflix on April 12, 2024.
