Diljit Dosanjh has shared an unseen video from the set of his upcoming film, Amar Singh Chamkila. The actor will be seen alongside Parineeti Chopra in the film.
Diljit Dosanjh is currently gearing up for the release of his new film, Amar Singh Chamkila. The actor will be seen playing the titular role in the movie, which is based on the life of famous Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila. Ahead of the film's OTT premiere on Netflix, Diljit is treating his followers to unseen photos and videos from the set of the Imtiaz Ali directorial. Today, Dosanjh posted a music video from the set of his movie. In the clip, Dosanjh can be seen performing live for a scene in Amar Singh Chamkila.
Diljit Dosanjh took to his official Instagram account and shared a video from Amar Singh Chamkila's set. The caption to his IG post read, "BABA TERA NANKANA Amar Singh Chamkila 12th April Only on netflix_in (sic)." If you haven't seen Diljit's video yet, check it out right below:
A day ago, Diljit shared a funny video from the set of his upcoming film with Parineeti Chopra. The actress, who plays Amarjot Kaur in the film, unleashed her Rihanna avatar during a scene. Looking at his co-star's antics, Diljit jokingly said that it was Parineeti's last day on the set. This left the actress in splits.
Earlier, in an interview with PTI, Diljit Dosanjh revealed he was a teenager when he was introduced to Amar Singh Chamkila's music. "Chamkila came into my life when I was 14-15 years old and I came to know about what a fantastic artist he was. I believe all the musicians from Punjab and even outside still follow Chamkila and his compositions," the actor said.
Diljit added that Chamkila composed a song like a scientist. The actor revealed that even today people make songs from the lyrics used by Amar Singh Chamkila.
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Amar Singh Chamkila is all set to premiere on April 12, 2024. The film will directly be released on Netflix. The music of this film has been composed by legendary AR Rahman.
