Amala Paul will be joining team Bholaa in the next schedule, which is planned for December this year.
Bholaa, Ajay Devgn's fourth directorial venture, has a new cast member. Amala Paul, best known for her roles in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam movies, will make a special appearance in the Kaithi Hindi remake. She will appear opposite Ajay Devgn in a significant role.
Amala Paul will be a part of team Bholaa, in the upcoming shoot, which is planned for December of this year.
Directed by and starring Ajay Devgn, the narrative centres on an ex-convict attempting to reconcile with his daughter. His objectives are, however, foiled by a drug raid that an inspector has organised.
Produced by Ajay Devgn Films, T-Series Films, Reliance Entertainment and Dream Warrior Pictures, Bholaa includes Tabu in a prominent role. This one is the ninth movie that Ajay and Tabu are a part of. They shared the screen in films including Vijaypath, Haqeeqat, Thakshak, Fitoor, Drishyam, Golmaal Again and De De Pyaar De. Apart from Bholaa, the duo will be seen in Drishyam 2.
Karthi, who starred in the original, expressed his confidence in Devgn's ability to direct the film, as well as play the protagonist. He claimed that numerous filmmakers from all across the nation approached the producers for the remake rights.
“Many others called me wanting to buy the rights to Kaithi but Ajay sir was the first to do so. I'm happy that he would be producing and directing the Hindi adaptation,” he was quoted as saying.
Bholaa's official release date is still awaited and marks Ajay’s fourth directorial film after U, Me aur Hum in 2008, Shivaay in 2016, and Runway 34 in 2022.
With The Teacher, Amala Paul is returning to Malayalam cinema after five years. She has a few other projects in the works, too, including Christopher, Dvija, and Kaadhal Konjam Thookala.
On the other hand, Ajay will be seen in producer Boney Kapoor’s next Maidaan and filmmaker Neeraj Pandey’s next untitled project, which is all set to hit the theatres on June 16, 2023.
