Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh, is one of the most-awaited films. Now, the release date of the film has been unveiled.

Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh starrer Alpha has finally got its release date. Yash Raj Films announced that its much-anticipated action entertainer, Alpha - the first female-led YRF Spy Universe film being produced by Aditya Chopra, will hit theatres on December 25, 2025.

In the upcoming Alpha, Alia Bhatt will be seen headlining the film. Munjya star Sharvari will join her. They will both be seen playing super agents in the highly anticipated Spyverse film Shiv Rawail is directing.

A while ago, Yash Raj Films took to their official Instagram account and shared a poster of Alpha. In the poster, the date December 25, 2025, is written.

While sharing the poster, they captioned it, "On Christmas 2025, #ALPHA will rise! Get ready for an action-packed holiday… 25th Dec, 2025. @aliaabhatt | @sharvari"

Fans react to Alpha's release date announcement

Reacting to the announcement, one fan wrote, "Kya baat hai Alia Bhatt Ka Action Avtarrr." Another commented, "Alia Bhatt - la another one movie (waiting see you in theatres)" A third fan called it, "Blockbuster."

Meanwhile, Alpha will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

Alia Bhatt reveals Alpha's motto

A montage video has made the announcement, featuring Alia discussing how Alphas will rule the world, accompanied by background music referring to them as "Alpha Girls."

In the video, Alia can be heard saying, "Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla akshar. Aur humare program ka motto: sabse pehle, sabse tezz, sabs veer. Dhyaan se dekho toh har sheher mein ek jungle hai. Aur jungle mein hamesha Raj karega.. ALPHA!" which loosely translates as "the first letter of the Greek alphabet. And the motto of our program: First, fastest, and bravest. If you look carefully, every city has a jungle. And in the jungle, always reigning supreme... ALPHA!"

Hrithik Roshan to make a cameo in Alpha?

According to the recent development, the film will have a cameo by none other than Hrithik Roshan. Reports by Dainik Bhaskar's column revealed that in YRF's first edition of the female spy universe, Hrithik will be seen in a brief appearance as Kabir from War. For the uninitiated, War is also a part of the YRF spy universe.
