Mohanlal’s Alone is a single-actor thriller set during the pandemic lockdown
Director Shaji Kailas’ single-actor thriller Alone is all set to begin streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from March 3 onwards. While the movie has only Mohanlal on screen, several leading stars from the Malayalam film industry including Prithviraj Sukumaran and Manju Warrier have lent their voices for characters in the thriller, which is set during the pandemic lockdown.
Scripted by Rajesh Jayaraman, the movie revolves around a motivational speaker named Kalidasan, who moves into an apartment in Kochi in the middle of the pandemic. He soon begins to hear voices of the earlier residents of the apartment, and starts an investigation to find out what actually happened to them.
Here’s a list of actors, apart from Mohanlal, who have played pivotal roles in carrying Kalidasan’s investigation forward in Alone.
Prithviraj Sukumaran

Dr Soosan is the voice that keeps him sane, but her startling revelation also brings a twist in the end.
