Alluri teaser: Sree Vishnu means business as a no non-sense cop Alluri Sita Rama Raju

Sree Vishnu, last seen in Bhala Thandanana, is turning a cop for the first time in his career in his next release, Alluri. He plays Alluri Sita Rama Raju, named after the iconic Telugu freedom fighter. Written and directed by Pradeep Varma, the film is bankrolled by Bekkem Venugopal under Lucky Media. Bekkem Babita is the presenter. The film's teaser was launched at AMB Cinemas, Hyderabad earlier today in the presence of the cast and creew.

In the teaser, Sree Vishnu, in one of his most stylish avatars to date, looks aptly cast as an SI Alluri Sita Rama Raju, an upright, sincere cop who would go to any length to fulfill his duties. Donning the khaki and flaunting his pointed moustache, the actor in a bulked-up look, scares the daylights out of his baddies in the teaser. The voice-over introduces his traits one after the other, 'Viplavaniki Naandhi..Chaitanyaniki Punaadhi..Nijayitheeki Maaru Peru.'

The teaser has slick visuals, intense action sequences and promises a unique plot, like most Sree Vishnu films. Kayadu Lohar is cast as the female lead in the film that also features Tanikella Bharani, Suman, Madhusudhan Rao, Pramodini, Raja Ravindra, Prudhvi Raj, Ravi Varma, Jaya Vani, Vasu Inturi, Vennela Rama Rao, Srinivas Vadlamani and others. Harshavardhan Ramheshwar's powerful background score enhances the impact of the teaser as well.

The filming of Alluri is more or less complete but for a song shoot. The first look poster of the film released to decent responses a few days ago. Cinematographed by Raj Thota and edited by Dharmendra Kakarala, Alluri has stunts by Ram Krishan. Ram Babu Gosala has penned the lyrics while K Raghunath takes care of sound design. The release date of Alluri will be announced shortly.
