Sree Vishnu's Alluri, directed by newcomer Pradeep Varma is set for a release tomorrow - September 23. The makers of the film, Lucky Media, have left no stone unturned to promote the film across the Telugu states in the last few days. Leading actors like Nani, Ravi Teja and Allu Arjun have come forward to promote the film across various forums. The film's songs, trailer and teaser have created good buzz among audiences prior to the release.

In the film’s trailer, Tanikella Bharani gives a motivational talk to a youngster. Then, Sree Vishnu is introduced as a police officer Alluri who has a unique style to tackle criminals. He is aggressive, violent and when there is no other option left, he doesn’t mind giving the outlaws a taste of their own medicine. He tries to transform wrongdoers but has bigger hurdles to tackle. He even sacrifices his personal life for his job.

In his first film as a cop, Sree Vishnu looks composed, apt and his dialogue delivery, laced with aggression is a treat to watch. Alluri is a man who gives more importance to his duty than personal life. Kayadu Lohar plays the on-screen wife of Sree Vishnu in the film, which has music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar. Pradeep Varma had narrated the script five years ago to the lead actor but the film took considerable time to go on floors.

The background score and cinematography (by Raj Thota) are other reasons why you must watch Alluri. The film is produced by Bekkem Venugopal. Alluri’s pre release event was held on September 18 at N Convention,Hyderabad (for which Allu Arjun was the chief guest). The actioner looks intense, emotional and appears to be another feather in the cap for Sree Vishnu, who’s reinventing himself from time to time in his diverse roles.

Alluri’s major clash is with the Naga Shaurya, Shirley starrer Krishna Vrinda Vihari. Other small-budgeted films like Paga Paga Paga and Dongalunnaru Jagratha are also hitting the screens on the same day. The film’s result is crucial for Sree Vishnu, more so after a flurry of box office failures like Arjuna Phalguna, Raja Raja Chora and Bhala Thandanana. The producer of Alluri, Bekkem Venugopal, was the one who introduced Sree Vishnu to Telugu cinema with Prema Ishq Kaadhal.
