Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's upcoming movie Pushpa 2: The Rule is one of the most-awaited movies of 2024. The excitement surrounding the movie is quite high, which is reflected in terms of the pre-release revenue that the film is generating.
According to reports, Pushpa 2 is likely to set a new benchmark for pre-theatrical revenue. The buzz is that the film has generated a record sum from the sale of its streaming and theatrical rights. It's claimed that AA Films, owned by Anil Thadani, has bought the theatrical rights for the entire North Indian belt for a huge sum, reportedly upwards of Rs 150 crore.
Pushpa 2 enjoys unprecedented popularity in North India, thanks to Allu Arjun. The Telugu superstar has a huge fan following among Hindi-speaking audiences, and his stardom was on full display when Pushpa: The Rise created history in 2021.

The Hindi version of Pushpa 1 opened in cinemas with a gross of Rs 3 crore, surprising everyone. As the film garnered good reviews, it dominated the box office, outperforming original Hindi movies like 83. The Hindi version of the film alone earned more than Rs 100 crore in India.
