Telugu superstar Allu Arjun arrived in Vizag on Sunday, drawing large swathes of fans. Allu's presence sparked a fan frenzy as he engaged with admirers, greeting them amid showers of love, cheers, attention, and flowers.

Accompanied by director Sukumar, Allu Arjun flew to Vizag to resume shooting for Pushpa 2. The production is progressing at a brisk pace, with the cast and crew working round the clock to meet deadlines.

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Pushpa 2 is one of the most anticipated movies of 2024 , expected to receive an earth-shattering response across the country.
Pushpa 2 marks the fourth collaboration between Sukumar and Allu Arjun. The influential role of Sukumar's films in solidifying Allu's stardom cannot be overstated. Notably, Allu's career took off as a leading man with Sukumar's debut movie Arya in 2004. Arya 2 in 2009 emerged as one of the biggest hits in Allu's career, establishing him as a bona fide star of Telugu cinema. These movies also helped Allu's stardom transcend language barriers and gain a larger fan following in Kerala.
In 2021, Sukumar's Pushpa: The Rise propelled Allu's stardom across the country, turning him into a nationwide sensation with just this single film.

Pushpa 2, 2024's most-awaited movie
Pushpa was released at a time when the country was still grappling with the aftereffects of the pandemic. Despite minimal promotion in Hindi-speaking belts, under the impression it wouldn't attract much attention, the movie set the box office on fire. It resonated with single-screen audiences in North Indian states and enjoyed significant success across South Indian states, becoming one of the biggest pan-India hits of the year. This success has created massive anticipation for Pushpa 2.
Pushpa 2 is expected to hit the screens worldwide on August 15 this year.
Sukumar has also expressed his desire to continue this franchise with more instalments. Pushpa 2 also stars Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.
