All you need to know before Cutting releases on Oho Gujarati

Mayur Chauhan and Hemang Shah are collaborating once again for Cutting, after their last hit Karsandas Pay & Use.

Oho Gujarati, who are known for bringing in a new concept each time with their web series, are now set to present Cutting - a web series based inside a salon. The story revolves around the daily lives of two barbers, played by Mayur Chauhan and Hemang Shah.

The story sheds light on the salon and all the different customers visiting it. While one is old-school, afraid to trust a new hairdresser, the other goes live right from his hair-cutting session.

Mayur and Hemang have collaborated after their last film Karsandas Pay & Use. The film also starred Deeksha Joshi in the lead role. She was last seen in Chaskela, which was also released on Oho Gujarati recently. Unfortunately she is not a part of the series, at least yet.

The show also stars Revant Sarabhai, Alisha Prajapati, Jagjeetsigh Vadher, Archan Trivedi, Nisarg Trivedi, Vishal Shah, Girish Brahmbhatt and Aariz Saiyad in pivotal roles. Most of the actors play the role of their customers.

Abhishek Jain, who had helmed Pratik Gandhi’s Vitthal Teedi and is also the owner of Oho Gujarati, is one of the producers for Cutting. Nayan Jain, Amit Desai and Suryadeep Basiya are the co-producers for the web series.

Pratik Rajen Kothari has helmed the series. He makes his web debut with Cutting. Abhinav Vaidya has penned the script which takes place mainly inside the salon where Mayur and Hemang’s characters work. The viewers also get a glimpse into their banter as two professionals who are close to one another.

Cutting releases on Oho Gujarati on June 20 at 7 pm IST.
