All you need to know about aha's Indo American original, The American Dream, starring Prince Cecil, Neha Krishna

The film, written and directed by Vignesh Kaushik, is headed for a Christmas release on the Telugu OTT platform

Staying true to its promise of ensuring a release every weekend through the year, aha is coming up with another interesting original, The American Dream, an Indo-American production, featuring Prince Cecil, Neha Krishna in the lead roles. Written and directed by Vignesh Kaushik, The American Dream is a Telugu film produced by Pradeep Reddy. The teaser of the part thriller, part coming-of-age tale was released earlier this week.

The teaser takes you through the life of a youngster Rahul, who has rosy dreams about his life in the US and needs to confront several hardships, taking up odd jobs to fend for himself in an alien nation. He meets a rich girl Riya in a pub and has a fling with her, though destiny isn't kind to him. Rahul ends up killing someone while driving Riya's car, he realises life is never going to be same for him again.

When Rahul's friend back home excitedly says that he's equally keen to come to the US, the former advises against it. What are the various twists and turns that Rahul's life is expected to take? Raviteja Mukkavalli, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Sri Mirajkar, Phani Rampalli, Anil Sankaramanchi, Sri Ram Reddy Asireddy, Muralidhar and Ravi Kumar Marka play supporting roles in The American Dream.

The film, shot in the US and India, has Adam Chapman and Abhiraj Nair cranking the camera, with Abhinay Timmaraju scoring the music. Expected to release around December 25, The American Dream is being publicised as a Christmas offering from aha. aha's next release this weekend is the Raj Tarun, Kashish Khan starrer Anubhavinchu Raja. Rajendra Prasad's OTT debut Senapathi is also expected to premiere on the platform on December 31. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
