In the picture, Alia can be seen wearing a light purple one should cut out dress and can be spotted sitting comfortably in the outdoor arena.

If one observes, the actor chose to start her day by sporting a no makeup look. She kept her hair wet and open and aced her sun-kissed selfie with her million-dollar smile. The actor captioned it as: “2.3 seconds after I’m left alone.”

This development comes just five days after Alia Bhatt's grandfather Narendranath Razdan died on June 1. He was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai, where he was being treated for lung infection. It is due to this reason that Alia Bhatt was unable to attend the IIFA awards ceremony in Dubai. The Bhatt family was mourning the demise of their loved one.

And now, this latest selfie of Alia Bhatt is like a ray of hope and motivation in the lives of her fans. This selfie simply conveys that life must go on despite all the challenges and adversities faced at hand.

On the work front, Bhatt will feature in Karan Johar's romantic comedy Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani co-starring Ranveer Singh. Later, she will also appear alongside Hollywood stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in the Netflix spy film Heart of Stone – a film which will mark Bhatt’s debut in the industry.
