Ranbir Kapoor and Shaheen Bhatt were seen with Soni Razdan's late father, while Alia Bhatt recorded him
Alia Bhatt’s grandfather Narendranath Razdan (Soni Razdan’s father) is no more. The 95-year-old breathed his last in Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital on June 1. Alia paid the cutest tribute to him minutes after news about his demise broke.
The actress took to Instagram and shared how her grandpa was lively and joyous even at the age of 93. “Played golf till 93. Worked till 93,” she started describing him.
Alia called him her hero and claimed that Narendranath made the best omelettes, told the best stories, played the violin, loved cricket and sketching. She also added a cute detail – that he would play with his great granddaughter (Alia and Ranbir Kapoor’s daughter, Raha).
In the video, Alia asked her then 92-year-old grandfather for some wise words, while capturing him. He said, “Smile all the time. Smile uses few muscles but enlightens so many people.”
Meanwhile, Ranbir helped Narendranath blow out some candles arranged on his cake. He and Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt blew the candles while the 92-year-old made a wish, while claiming that he made many wishes.
