Alia Bhatt recently made an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show season 2. The actress was a part of an episode with the team of her film Jigra. Kapil Sharma's comedy show premiered on Netflix on September 21 with its second season. On TGIKS, Alia shared interesting details about her husband Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Raha's bond. The actress revealed Ranbir sings a Malayalam song as a lullaby for their baby girl.

Ranbir Kapoor invents games; sings lullaby for Raha

On Kapil Sharma's show, Alia revealed Ranbir and Raha share a special friendship. Divulging more details about their special bond. the actress revealed, "Ranbir invents random games for Raha. Suddenly, he’d be like, ‘Do you want to touch the clothes in the cupboard?’ and then they would have a sensory play categorizing the dress as Velvet, Suede, Cotton, etc… He is very adventurous and very creative. It is very endearing."

The Jigra actress further mentioned nurses from Kerala take care of her daughter Raha. They often sing the Malayalam song Unni Vaavavo as a lullaby for the little one. And now, Ranbir has learned the same and sings it to his daughter.

"When Raha wants to sleep, she says Vaavavo as the cue. Now, Ranbir has learned to sing Unni Vaavavo," shared Alia. Later, Bhatt opened up about a song that her mother Soni Razdan sings while changing Raha's diapers. "It goes like ‘Punjabi Samosa, Aloo ka Pakoda, Gujarati ka Dhokla…’ and she sang the same when I was a baby. No wonder I grew up to love Dhoklas, Samosas, and Pakodas," she added.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt will be seen in director Vasan Bala's movie, Jigra. The film highlights a brother-sister's bond. She will share screen space with Vedang Raina in the movie which will be released on October 11, 2024. Jigra will clash with Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video at the box office. The actress also has Love & War with Ranbir and Vicky Kaushal and Alpha with Sharvari lined up.
