Ever since the song Tum Kya Mile from the movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was released, it has been trending on social media. This iconic song has been sung by popular singers namely Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal. Not only this, but the video of the song and the film features superstars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles.
With such a stellar cast and crew behind the making of this song, it is evident that social media users can’t keep calm as they wait for the film to be released theatrically on July 28.
To add to the buzz, Alia Bhatt today revealed about how she shot for the song, especially just four months after giving birth to her first child, Raha. Notably, actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt welcomed their first child, Raha, on November 6, 2022.
“This (picture) was from the last day of shoot. I look tired but satisfied! Going back to work as a new mom in any profession will never be easy... you feel various emotions all at once. Not to mention the major physical difference in your energy... but I am very grateful & feel very privileged and supported by a team and crew that was understanding. I feel for new mothers everywhere... especially those who have to resume work immediately. Postpartum. It's never easy,” writes Alia in a note on Instagram.
Alia even adds that she shot the song in the presence of her newborn, Raha.
She adds, “Vaibhavi ma’am (choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant) would try plan her shots according to my nursing schedule and my mom and sister were babysitting whenever I was away!!! But it was my baby girl’s first trip to Kashmir, and seeing the mountains through her eyes was just everything.”
About a week ago, filmmaker Karan Johar (who directed this upcoming romantic drama) also revealed that Alia Bhatt shot for the song just a few months after giving birth to her first child, Raha. However, the filmmaker had not dropped details about the song’s shooting process back then.
