Alia Bhatt, no doubt, is a big fan of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Time and again, she is the first one to react on Bhansali Music label
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali
Remember when Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming magnum-opus, Heeramandi’s first-look was released through Netflix back in February? Among the online frenzy, Alia Bhatt was one of them to shower her excitement for the 61-year-old filmmaker. Bhatt was the first one to share the first-look on Instagram, and described it as “pure magic”.
Today once again Brahmāstra-actress couldn't hold her excitement, and soon reacted to Bhansali's new music label launch. For the unfamiliar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has launched his much-anticipated music label, Bhansali Music on March 7, 2024. This this music label, the Devdas-director will be exhibiting his power in music by collaborating with talent musicians, artists, singers, composers, and with those who are linked with the music industry. In association with these maestros, he will also launch independent music albums.
Alia shared the official logo of Bhansali Music on Instagram story, and wrote, “Always elevating…always inspiring.” We hundred percent agree with her, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a wondrous artist in today's generation.
It is known to all now that Alia Bhatt adores Bhansali. She has always been very vocal about her admiration for the filmmaker, ever since she has done Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022). It was the first film in her career, where she was the only main lead, and it collected more than ₹200 crore at the box office. Not only that, but Bhatt also even received the National Award of India for the crime drama. It's really a significant moment in her life to receive such a prestigious accolade, after being highly trolled and receiving severe backlashes every now and then for marrying Ranbir Kapoor.
However, did you know Alia Bhatt is the one who persuaded Ranbir Kapoor to sign Sanjay Leela Bhansali's another striking project, Love & War? Yes, that's what we learnt from a few reports. Ranbir made his Bollywood debut with Bhansali's Saawariya in 2007. Despite being such a big project, and it also cost a lot of money to make it, the film couldn't make it at the box office. It failed to impress the audience, and crashed. Since then, surprisingly, we haven't seen Ranbir and Bhansali ever collaborating.
Now after a long seventeen years of gap, Kapoor and Bhansali are coming together once again in Love & War. All thanks to our favourite Alia Bhatt! As of now, we only know the film stars Bhatt along with Kapoor and and Vicky Kaushal in the leads. This is the first time the trio will be collaborating, and hence, the news has created a frenzy among netizens already.
