Filmmaker Karan Johar expressed on Monday that, following his foray into parenthood in 2017, his "best friends" from Bollywood—Rani Mukerji, Kajol, and Kareena Kapoor Khan—played instrumental roles in raising his twins, Yash and Roohi.
Karan, who had previously shared his co-parenting arrangement with his mother, Hiroo Johar, revealed during a media interaction in Mumbai, "When I had kids at 44, I anticipated being the oldest in parent-teacher meetings, WhatsApp groups, or my children’s birthday parties. However, it's far from the truth. Kareena had Taimur just two months before Yash and Roohi's birth, and Rani had Adira a year prior to their arrival. These two are my closest friends in the industry." Karan's twins were born through surrogacy in 2017.
