When a fan scaled the wall to meet Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in Delhi during the promotion of his forthcoming movie Selfiee, Akshay was shocked.
Akshay Kumar is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, 'Selfiee'. When he recently attended an event, a devoted fan of the celebrity attempted to jump a barricade and was nearly beaten by security guards. As Akshay thanked the audience, a female fan reportedly passed out.
In order to promote his forthcoming movie Selfiee, the celebrity was in Delhi. To meet his young fans, he went to a university. During the occasion, a fan allegedly jumped the fence to touch Akshay's feet. Quickly taking control of the situation, the security guards pushed the fan away.
In a widely shared video, the bodyguards are shown yelling at the youngster while pushing him to the ground. Akshay stepped in and gave the man a gentle hug before patting him on the head. The video quickly became viral on social media and netizens praised Akshay for his reaction. A Twitter user wrote, "Two things come to mind after watching this video that how much fans of #AkshayKumar love Akshay and how much love and respect Akshay Kumar gives to his fans." Another one wrote, "Most down-to-earth megastar who always cares about his fans first."
The movie, Selfiee, is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam film Driving License, which also stars Emraan Hashmi. The roles formerly portrayed by Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu will be played by Akshay and Emraan. Ali Abbas Zafar directed the film. In significant roles, it also features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Diana Penty. The movie is scheduled to release on February 24, 2023.
