Akshay Kumar drops big update on Hera Pheri 3 with Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty - 'If everything goes well...'

Akshay Kumar has finally shared an exciting update about his comedy film, Hera Pheri 3. The actor has reunited with Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty for the movie.

Hera Pheri is one of the most loved comic franchises in Bollywood. People have been excitedly waiting for Hera Pheri 3 since it was announced. The third installment marks Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty's reunion for the comic caper. In a recent interview, Akshay finally shared an update about Hera Pheri 3 which will excite the fans. The actor mentioned that the film will go on floors this year if everything goes well.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar was asked about the third installment of Hera Pheri. That's when the actor said that even he was waiting to begin Hera Pheri 3's shoot.

"I don’t know, but if everything goes well, it will start this year. When we started Hera Pheri, we didn’t know it would go ahead to become such a cult. Even when I saw the film, I didn’t understand. Yes, it was funny, but none of us expected the characters of Babu Bhaiya, Raju, and Shyam to become a cult," said Akshay.

The actor further praised his Hera Pheri co-star Paresh Rawal. They are currently woking on a different project, Bhooth Bangla. "We were just shooting for Bhooth Bangla in Jaipur, and I had lots of fun with him. During Hera Pheri, we had a lot of fun, but there are some things which can’t be said on camera," he shared.

For the uninitiated, filmmaker Priyadarshan helmed the 2000 film Hera Pheri. In the movie, Akshay was seen as Raju while Suniel played the role of Shyam. On the other hand, Paresh Rawal essayed the character of Babu Bhaiya.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar has a long list of interesting films lined up. He is presently gearing up for the release of Sky Force, which will be released on January 24, 2025. The actor also has Jolly LLB 3, Kannappa, Shankara, Welcome to the Jungle, Housefull 5, and more lined up.
