The crime-comedy movie, which also stars Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arshad Warsi, is all set to hit the big screens on March 18.
Akshay Kumar is gearing up to promote his highly-anticipated movie, Bachchhan Paandey. The Khiladi actor is currently promoting his upcoming film with full power that also stars Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arshad Warsi. Meanwhile, the crime-comedy movie is set to hit the theatres just a week before the release of SS Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR. Talking about the clash, Akshay calls it unfortunate.
During a recent media interaction, the Bollywood actor acknowledged the unfortunate clash between two films and mentioned that it can affect the box office collection of his forthcoming movie.
He mentioned that a lot of projects were shelved for future release due to the COVID-19 pandemic and now all of them are going to come one on top of the other. He further said that Bachchhan Paandey’s box office might affect by 30 to 40 per cent.
"It’s not important that only Bachchhan Paandey works. I really hope that all the films become a hit. We have gone through a pandemic and it has been two years since anything was released. I hope lots of movies come in theatres and people watch them," he added.
Bachchhan Paandey has been directed by Ahmed Khan and backed by Sajid Nadiadwala. The crime comedy-drama, which also has Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, Sanjay Mishra, Abhimanyu Singh, Snehal Daabbi and Saharsh Kumar Shukla is all set to hit the silver screens on Holi, March 18.
