Akshay Kumar reviews Ajay Devgn's Runway 34, says 'Mazaa aa gaya kasam se'

Runway 34 also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani in significant roles. The film releases in theatres on April 29, 2022.

Ajay Devgn is gearing up for the release of his upcoming thriller film titled Runway 34. The movie that also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Amitabh Bachchan in crucial roles has been creating a lot of buzz over the past couple of weeks. Now, turns out that Ajay, who is also donning the hats of the producer and director of the film (apart from headlining it as an actor), hosted a special screening of Runway 34 for his good friend Akshay Kumar.

The Sooryavanshi actor was all praises for the film. Akshay took to his Twitter account to share his thoughts after watching the film and wrote, "Just watched #Runway34. Bhai @ajaydevgn mazaa aa gaya kasam se (sic)." He also praised the thriller film for its "superb vfx, brilliant acting and direction."

Akshay also mentioned that Big B is "effortless as always" in the film and praised Rakul Preet's performance with clapping emojis. He further with the film's team with good luck and wrote, "May the film get its due (sic)."

Earlier on Thursday, Ajay had also shared a video capturing the star-studded screening of Runway 34, that was attended by Abhishek Bachchan, Kartik Aaryan, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza, Aanand L Rai, Suniel Shetty, Boney Kapoor among others.

Inspired by true events, Runway 34 chronicles the incident from 2015 when a Jet Airways flight narrowly escaped mishap. The pilots were facing troubles in landing the airplane due to bad weather at the Cochin International Airport. Ajay Devgn will be seen essaying the character of a pilot - Captain Vikrant Khanna. The film is all set to hit the silver screens on April 29, 2022.
