Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff will feature next in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan
Akshay Kumar, known as the Khiladi of Bollywood, is often lauded for his incredible stunts in movies. The actor. who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Tiger Shroff, recently revealed why he does not use a body double for his stunts.
During an event at Amar Ujala Samvad, Akshay revealed that he does not take the help of body double because he does not want the audience to feel cheated. “Our audience buys tickets of Rs 250, Rs 350 and come to watch us. They would like to see real things. I don’t want them to feel cheated. Some stunts are there, which you should not try and do it. They are very risky. That’s where you take VFX’s help.”
Talking about the stunts he did in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akshay further revealed that there is also use of VFX and body doubles where the stunts were very risky. He said that these stunts are very risky and also life-threatening . “You will see blasts. We go through the blast ourselves. We go through running, we fall, we tumble. That is important. I don’t want my audience to be cheated and give them what they require,” he explained.
Speaking about the safety measures that are taken while shooting a scene, Akshay said that even though the fear is always there, they make it safe. He also said that for doing a scene, you should know how to land properly. “Even if you are jumping off this stool, you should do all safety checks. You should know how to land. Similarly, it is important that whenever we do it, we ensure nothing goes wrong,” he stated.

Akshay Kumar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan co-star Tiger Shroff also talked about Akshay’s stunt scenes and said he wished he could learn from the senior actor. “We were coming in a flight and I am very scared of flying. I remember Akshay had done a stunt in Khiladi 420 where he is standing on the wing of the plane and balancing. I am sitting inside a plane and I am scared. Akshay sir has done daring baazi on top of a plane,” Tiger said.
