Akshay Kumar reveals getting obituary messages after his flop movies

While interacting with the press during the trailer launch of Khel Khel Mein, Akshay Kumar was asked by media persons his views on delivering back-to-back flops at the box-office. His 2024 releases, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Sarfira, have been flops at the box-office.

Responding to these questions, Akshay Kumar confidently said, “Abey mara nahi hu, jo bhi kamata hun Apne dam per kamata hun. Kisise kuch manga nahi hai maine. (Oh common! I am not dead. Whatever I earn is because of my hard work. I do not beg anyone for money.)”

Akshay funnily even said that people reacted to his flops as if he was dead. The messages sent to him by those concerned with this performance were similar to the ones sent during the time of an obituary, he said.

The other cast and crew members, meanwhile, cheered up Akshay Kumar and expressed full faith that Khel Khel Mein would be a box-office success.
