Akshay Kumar drops unseen BTS pic with Ajay, Rohit, Ranveer ahead of Sooryavanshi release announcement

Rohit Shetty had announced that Sooryavanshi will release in theatres this Diwali. The announcement came in light of theatres opening up in Maharashtra.

Akshay Kumar shares a BTS photo from the sets of Sooryavanshi soon after Rohit Shetty confirmed the release date of the movie. This image features Akshay, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn and Rohit himself, looking at each other with love and respect in their eyes.

The image, taken in the middle of a scene, sees Ranveer, Akshay and Ajay in the khakhi police uniform. Meanwhile, Rohit could be seen in blue casual wear - shirt and denims.

When Sooryavanshi was announced during Simmba's release, Rohit had hinted that the trio actors will be back for his cop universe film. He confirmed the same with a photo of Akshay, Ranveer and Ajay celebrating Simmba's success with him and producer Karan Johar.

Sooryavanshi trailer further gave a glimpse into 'Simmba' Ranveer Singh. However, it was 'Singham' Ajay Devgn who stole the show back then with his car-spinning entry.

The much-awaited film is finally releasing in theatres. The movie will be out on Diwali. Meanwhile, the theatres in Maharashtra will open from October 22.

Sooryavanshi stars Katrina Kaif as the female lead. Whether Sara Ali Khan, Kajal Aggarwal or Kareena Kapoor Khan will also be a part of the movie, is still unknown.
