Akshay Kumar back as most popular male actor, Sidharth Malhotra enters list ahead of Thank God release

Shah Rukh Khan was ruling as most popular male actor for some time.

Akshay Kumar has come back as the most popular male actor of September 2022. This happens soon after his upcoming film Ram Setu’s trailer was unveiled. Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra, who has not entered the list so far, made it this time around. His name also crops up ahead of Thank God’s release.

Interestingly, Ajay Devgn, who is as much the leading face of Thank God as Sidharth, is not on the list unveiled by Ormax Media. Shah Rukh and Salman still remain a favourite of many, which is clear by them being among the top three.

Shah Rukh Khan is the second most popular male actor. He was leading the race till some time back. Salman, who is awaiting the release of his films Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tiger 3, was on the third spot.

Ranbir Kapoor, who has achieved success in the form of his latest release Brahmastra Part One: Shiva came fourth on the list. Hrithik Roshan, also seen recently in Vikram Vedha is fifth on the list. Again, Saif, who plays as much a role as Hrithik in the film, did not make it to the list.

Ranveer Singh, who grabs headlines even apart from his films, is the sixth on the list. Aamir, who would usually be among the top three, has fallen down to number seven after Laal Singh Chaddha debacle.

Kartik Aaryan, who is still riding high on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 success, is the eight on the list. However, it is the number nine and ten on the list that will grab your attention. Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year’ competitors Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra are back and they are competing to stay on the list.

Sidharth has received immense fame since Shershaah release. He is now awaiting his next film Thank God’s release. The movie will release in theatres on October 25, 2022. Meanwhile, Varun, last seen in Jugjugg Jeeyo, will next be seen in Bhediya, the third horror-comedy film from Dinesh Vijan after Stree and Roohi.
